The door openers we offer are available with either chain or belt drives. Both models are reliable; the main difference is in the noise level: a belt drive will be quieter. Since it’s nearly silent, a motor driving a belt would be an excellent choice if your garage is located below a bedroom. Besides, a belt drive doesn’t need to be lubricated, as opposed to a chain drive which requires more maintenance.
